AI couples therapy · for two
Love is built, not found. Pragma helps you build it — a little, every day.
Fifteen quiet minutes a day with an AI relationship coach trained on the methods couples therapists actually use. You talk — out loud or by text. Pragma listens, remembers, and gives you both something small to try tonight.
Good evening, Nora.
What did I do this week that made you feel chosen?
The quiet middle
Most relationships don't end in a fight. They thin out in the silences.
You're not in crisis. You're tired, a little distracted, and aware that the easy closeness you used to have has been crowded out by logistics. Couples counseling helps — but it's expensive, hard to schedule for two, and weeks away. Most nights, you just need a better question and someone to help you actually answer it. That's the gap Pragma was built for.
How Pragma works
A daily rhythm, not a weekly appointment
Each partner uses Pragma on their own phone. It takes about fifteen minutes, and it fits in the gap between dinner and sleep.
Sit down with a coach — by voice or chat
Open the app and talk the way you'd talk to a thoughtful friend. Speak out loud and Pragma listens and responds in real time, or type if you'd rather keep it quiet. You choose one of three coaches — Juno, Dr. Aria or Kai — each with a different temperament.
Get one true thing to work on
Instead of vague advice, every session lands on something specific and doable — a question to ask, a repair to make, a small habit to try before tomorrow. It's grounded in the same frameworks couples therapists use, translated into plain language.
Pragma remembers — for both of you
Because it holds a shared, privacy-aware memory across both partners, Pragma notices patterns neither of you would track alone: the argument that keeps returning, the bid that keeps getting missed. Your transcripts stay private; only the insights you allow are shared.
Build, week over week
Each week Pragma assigns a deeper exercise — a Gottman love-map, an EFT repair, a gratitude practice — broken into short daily steps. The reps compound. That's the whole idea behind the name.
Grounded in real methods
Not advice off the internet. The frameworks therapists are trained in.
Pragma's coaches are built on six well-studied approaches to relationships and behavior change. You don't need to know the names — but it matters that they're under the hood, because it's the difference between a chatbot guessing and a method working.
A note on what this is
"Pragma is an AI relationship coach, not a licensed therapist. It won't diagnose or treat — it helps you practice the everyday skills that keep love working."
If you're dealing with abuse, a mental-health crisis, or harm to yourself, Pragma will point you to trained humans and local hotlines immediately. Some things need a person, and we'll always say so.
What's inside
Everything two people need to keep choosing each other
Voice or chat, your call
Talk out loud for a real back-and-forth, or type when the house is asleep. Either way the coaching is the same depth.
Built for both partners
Pair with an invite code and Pragma works as one shared practice — while keeping each person's words their own.
Shared, private memory
It remembers what matters across sessions and surfaces the patterns — without ever exposing your private transcripts.
A weekly exercise program
Thirteen deep programs across communication, trust, intimacy, conflict and more — delivered one small step a day.
Your relationship blueprint
Over time Pragma draws an honest read of how you two work — where your strength is, and the repair you make best.
In your language
Full sessions, exercises and coaching in English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese and Arabic — including right-to-left.
Three coaches, one memory
Pick the voice that gets through to you
Some people need warmth first. Some want the pattern named. Some just want a next step. You can switch anytime — they all share the same understanding of your relationship.
Juno
Connection Coach
Warm and unhurried. Juno sits with the feeling before reaching for the fix — leaning on Emotionally Focused Therapy to help you feel heard first.
Dr. Aria
Clinical Psychologist
Structured and precise. Aria names the pattern, separates the event from the story you told about it, and hands you one concrete tool — CBT-informed.
Kai
Momentum Coach
Encouraging and practical. Kai starts from what already works between you and builds — solution-focused, always ending on a doable next step.
Why couples stay
"We'd become very good logistics partners and very bad at being a couple. Pragma gave us five minutes a night that were actually about us. We didn't need saving — we needed to pay attention again."

Honest answers
The questions couples actually ask
Is this a replacement for a real therapist?
No, and we won't pretend otherwise. Pragma is an AI relationship coach informed by established therapeutic methods — it doesn't diagnose or treat, and it isn't a licensed clinician. It's genuinely good at the everyday work: communication, reconnecting, and breaking out of repetitive arguments. Think of it as daily practice between (or before) professional help. If something needs a trained human, Pragma will tell you and point you to one.
What if only one of us is into it?
Completely fine — and common. Each partner uses Pragma individually, so you can start solo and invite your partner whenever they're ready. Plenty of couples begin with one person doing the nightly sessions; the other tends to join once they see it's low-pressure and not about being "the problem."
Can an app really change a relationship?
An app can't do the loving for you. What it can do is make the good habits easier and more consistent than willpower alone — a better question at the right moment, a nudge to repair instead of withdraw, a record of what's working. Relationships change through small repeated actions, and that's exactly what Pragma is designed to prompt.
Is what I say private — even from my partner?
Yes. Your transcripts are encrypted and never shown to your partner. Pragma's shared memory only surfaces privacy-aware insights you've allowed — never your raw words. You can export or delete everything at any time. Read the privacy policy.
How much is it, and where do I pay?
Seven days free, then $19.99/month, $44.97 every three months ($14.99/mo), or $119.88/year ($9.99/mo). Subscriptions are handled inside the iOS and Android app. See full pricing.
